You will be greeted by Sunny Ceylon Travels staff at the airport, and then we will transfer you to the most nearest destination to the airport to rest and relax. In the evening take a boat ride down the Dutch canal and its alluring places. (BOAT RIDE)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, this place is to house the Elephants were sick, lost and abandoned, and in the evening take a walk to Dambulla cave temple, it is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160m over the surrounding plains. There are about 80 caves in the area. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Lord Buddha and his life. There total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of gods and goddesses. This temple complex dates back to the 1st century BC. (WALKING & HIKING)

17 FEB: DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – (100 KMS – 02 HRS)

After breakfast you will be driven to Sigiriya to climb the impregnable rock fortress of the 4^th century. King Kassapa built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. On a small plateau about halfway up the side of this rock he built a gateway in the form of an enormous lion. And then depart to POLONNARUWA the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms (CLIMB & HIKE)

After breakfasts depart to Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Sri Lankan civilization. It was 3rd capital of the ancient Kingdom. (Optional – Cycling is the best way to explore the city and the ancient architectures). (CYCLING)

19 FEB: ANURADHAPURA – KANDY – (140 KKMS – 02 HRS)

After breakfasts depart to Kandy, it is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most venerable places for the Buddhist community of Sri Lanka and all around the world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. Watch the traditional rituals are performed daily at 1730 hrs by the temple workers. (CULTURAL SHOW)

After breakfasts depart to Nuwara Eliya for one night, the city was founded by Samuel Baker, the discoverer of Lake Albert and the explorer of the Nile in 1846. Nuwara Eliya’s climate lent itself to becoming the prime sanctuary of the British civil servants and planters in Ceylon. Nuwara Eliya, called Little England then, was also a hill country retreat where the British colonialists could immerse in their pastimes such as fox hunting, deer hunting, elephant hunting, polo, golf and cricket. 21 FEB: NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – (100 KMS – 02 HRS)

Ella is quite famous for many travelers, everyone’s favorite hill-country village and the place to ease off the travel accelerator with a few leisurely days resting in your choice of some of the country’s best ecofriendly resorts & guesthouses. The views through Ella Gap are stunning, and on a clear night you can even spy the subtle glow of the great basses lighthouse on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Don’t be too laid-back, though: definitely make time for easygoing walks through tea plantations to temples, waterfalls and viewpoints. (NATURE WALK)
